OH MY GOSH!!! WHAT THE HECK!! WHY?!
I swear I forgot the entire book after those cliffhangers. I knew something was building up to these moments.
I want to talk about her relationships with the guys and how amazingly they progressed, but I swear I can't think of anything. The ending BROKE me. Like why?? Seriously. And where and when it happened. He was so happy and unaware; I don't even want to know how he reacts when he finds out iykyk. I don't want to say too much so I don't spoil it, but WHY?!?! Just why? Seriously why? for what reason?? *sobbing* And then the extra POV at the end. I only have more questions. I can't believe I have to wait until AUGUST. I'm trying to tell myself it's only three months away, but MY GOODNESS.

These books were exactly what I needed and more. I'm happy I found them when I did, but sad because the fourth book still needs to be released. And I just know it's going to get worse before it gets better. Please Mrs. Ashley author don't break our hearts too much.

I wish I could explain more about this book, just know it's amazing. Everything was done expertly.

Favorite quotes/scenes

-"You promised, Shi," Creed said. "Run or fight, we do it together, remember?"
"One of us could die tomorrow," Knox said. "Be it a heart attack, a brain aneurysm, or a car crash. What have I told you about living in fear?
Living in fear isn't living.

-"I had people. Of course, I knew I had my guys, but there was something about this moment that really showed me what I had. Isabelle had gone up against Gabe for me. Ethan, who was extremely competitive, had forfeited the bet he had with Isabelle. There was a saying that you didn't realize what you had until it was gone. That was painfully true. But no one really talked about how, after you'd lost everything, it was overwhelmingly wonderful to regain something, or in this case...people who cared about you."

-"You weren't supposed to say it first." (Colt)
"And why is that?"
"Because I was planning on saying it. I had this while speech thing I wanted to say to you."
"We can pretend I didn't say anything."
"I don't want to."
"But I want to hear your declaration of love."

-"Babe?" (Colt)
"Hmm?"
"I'm proud of you. I know you don't see the progress that you've made, but we do, and I wanted you to know that we can see it."
I hadn't realized how badly I'd needed to hear that until right then. "Thank you."

- Keelan said and looked to his brother. "Would it be weird to develop a clown fetish? Because I'm into this.
"You just have a Shiloh fetish," Knox said. "If she came out dressed like a nun, you'd be into that, too."
"Are we talking about a naughty nun or a full-fledged nun?"
"Would it matter?"
"I suppose it wouldn't. I'd be going to hell either way, because I don't think I could let her leave this room until I had her praying to God. Loudly."

-" Sir, yes, sir."
"I thought I told you to only call me that in the bedroom."
"No, you haven't."
"Would you like to?" (Creed)

reread: 8/13/23 - 8/15/23 to prepare myself for book 4 that comes out in a few weeks!

Lets just say, even though I knew what the cliffy was in this book I was still not prepared for it 🥲

Read this series, read them in order and buckle up for this wild ride. You get it all — lots of TWs, action, suspense, spice, moments that make you go wtf, and the moment when the grumpy Stone brother FINALLY caves 😛🧎🏻‍♀️

This book…oh my gosh. So freaking good. Although I do feel like Logan is hiding something. But the guys, and Shi….so good. Love the continued storyline and the guys opening up more. But that ending!!! I need book 4 pronto!!
