wooow, i really really enjoyed this! i was super invested in the WHO DUN IT but then also my brain would totally forget trying to solve it because i just liked all of the characters SO MUCH. especially the more peripheral ones like maeve, and eli, and ashton, and kris, heck, even mikhail powers. like, WHAT A GREAT STORY and an excellent, excellent twist!

Gave me some pretty little liars vibes, which maybe helpfully lead me to making some really wrong predictions & be ‘happily’ surprised at what actually transpires. Seeing a second book I was hoping for a cliff hanger - last second plot twist - betcha didn’t see that coming - moment but I feel like I saw the ending coming in some ways. Definitely not in others!!! It was hard to keep all of the characters and their siblings straight but that could be because I listened to the audio version.

I enjoyed myself with this book but will not be continuing with the series. There are YA books that read young and should be left to the youngsters. This is one of those. I have too many silvers to be mistaken for a YA.

This book is great and has a lot goin on, murder mystery, high school drama, lots of secrets, suspicion, and a little bit of romance.

It's all about 4 people who all end up in school detention, you have the star of the baseball team, the prom queen, the rebel and the goodie two shoes. But there is also Simon who runs a gossip app that ruins reputations. All 4 of them have secrets to hide, but by the time detention ends Simon is dead.

I loved this book so much and loved how you got to know each character as the story went on, it's definitely a book I would recommend.

The intrigue was good and the audio narration really well done. However, I was disappointed by how sexual identity and mental health were used as plot twists. I think a bit more sensibility could have gone a long way to make this book better, since I enjoyed the rest of it.

Such a good and easy read. Maybe it was the way the page count was set up in my ebook, but I generally found myself devouring 20+ pages at a time. Regardless, the book was great. I was hooked from the beginning and didn't want to let go. I KNEW something was up with [redacted]; it just didn't seem right! And while u predicted [redacted] was responsible, I definitely didn't predict it in the way it played out. Very well done. Looking forward to book 2!
