Przeszłam trzy ścieżki i na razie mi wystarczy. Na pewno wrócę, bo chcę poznać resztę, a poza tym uważam, że historia będzie kompletna dopiero jak przeczytam całość, bo po pierwszej ścieżce kompletnie nie wiedziałam o co chodzi. Nie jestem jednak pewna, czy jest tam większa intryga , czy po prostu autorka nie miala pomysłu na zakończenia.

It’s a choose your own adventure book! How exciting! - was my first thought upon starting reading the novel but as I kept reading (and choosing), my initial excitement slowly died off. This book too closely mimics the life, how each of our choices determines our future, and how there is no going back. I cheated and went back many times, just trying to get better, happier future, just to arrive at the end which was the best I could do - a bittersweet ending where the MC managed to scrap a life for herself instead of hating her life or dying in a grotesque way. I know that what I got is also the best we can hope in life, this is not a fantasy book, but my heart still yearned for main character’s happiness, crazy adventures after making a pact with the devil. In my case the Dearest Iblis only gave her a grant and a year-long visa in the US, leaving her as lost as she was back home.

I read books to escape my reality and to hear other people’s stories and this novel delivered it to a T, someone else’s mundane reality, just with a spicier beginning.

Bingung juga mau reviu gimana, mungkin nanti bakal jabarin dikit pilihan-pilihan yang aku ambil sampai ending kali, ya. Kalau sempat hehe. Yang pasti buku ini mesti dicoba baca sekali seumur hidup, sih, dan aku baru tahu ada format bacaan yang bisa pilih opsi alur begini.

Apa aku disebut bres bacanya kalau sbnernya aku nggak baca semua alternatif jalannya? Entahlah ya. Tpi buku ini menarik banget buat dibaca dengan segala alternatifnya. Aku baca 10 ending dan kayaknya ada lebih dri itu. Antara 12-14 ending. Tpi yaah nggak aku baca semua karena draggy banget dan rasanya repetititf. Capek duluan ngikutinnya. Tapi aku tahu, tokoh si Kau ini bersinggungan sama takdirnya yang lain. Kek misal yang di Peru itu Kau sama Yvette bersinggungan sama Kau dann Ferdinana ama Tiffany. Padahal itu masih alternatif cerita dia. Wkwkwk. Dan mungkin ada yang lain tapi duuh aku capek. Wkkw

Tapi buku ini tetep ngasih pengalaman yang asyik. 😂
