I thought that this book brought up some really important and relevant topics.  There were some really helpful analogies that made the information easier to understand. However, i really struggled with the writing style and found myself more focused on the ways that i didn't enjoy the writing than the content being written about, which is unfortunate.

I’m pretty new to a lot of the topics and ways of thinking that were introduced in this book, and I think the authors brought up important and complex topics in ways that were easily digestible. That being said, there were several references made that I wish had more background included, and at times the writing felt disconnected and difficult to follow. Overall, I really liked this book and feel like I learned so much about the world and myself by reading it. I’d be interested to see how I would feel about and relate to this book if I read it again in a few years.

A lot of good, useful, and thought-inducing points in this book. I appreciate the mission of this book.

I do feel, however, there were a few instances that make me not able to fully recommend this book. As an example, I am am on the ace spectrum and I did not appreciate how the subject was handled - imo too narrowly and shallowly and, notably, extremely binarily.

This was good, both as an intro text and even if you've read on the subject before. A few of the chapters went in directions I wasn't expecting; this book is interested in a lot of different binaries besides the gender binary, which was interesting.

Exactly the book I needed right now as a nonbinary queer individual trying to figure out what I want my relationships and future to look like. This book serves as an introductory guide to the concept of nonbinary thinking in our everyday lives and is by no means exhaustive. It is one that I expect to be re-reading every few years. The suggested exercises are great too.
