War fiction isn’t my favourite genre, but I enjoyed Harris’ previous books based around the war and the way he links fact and fiction. This was enjoyable, if a bit light perhaps. We had little in the way of character building and the time period was very narrow, but still a decent read and some history to learn too.

Un'ottima lettura, come avevo già sperimentato con questo autore. Trama che sta in piedi, personaggi convincenti e stereotipi al minimo. Se vogliamo, un po' corto e finale un po' veloce. Un autore che non delude.

A compelling book from an author cruising along on top form. If anything, I would have liked it have been longer, which can only mean I was enjoying the journey.

Don't want to feed stereotypes, but the older I get, the more WW2 books I read. :(

Good historical elements but the characters were a bit flat. It has made me want to read more about V2 rockets but in nonfiction instead.
