The book is 97% a letter to a man the main character would like to obtain as her lawyer, and that premise kind of annoyed me.  Several times in the story, I was like “why would you tell your lawyer this?”  And “if I was this lawyer, I would’ve stopped reading by now.  Get to the point!”   Fine as a story, but not as a letter.

Fun read - loved the smart house features. Breadcrumbs dropped along the way and exciting finish.

This book was not what I expected. It is long, and dragged, and noting really happens and the ending is pretty weak to say the least.

There are a few twists in the end that probably the author was hoping to be the big revelation, the big breakthrough, but they are stretched and far fetched and unrealistic.

Turn of the Key by Ruth Ware was amazing!! It is by far the best book in my opinion she has written. It captures your attention from the very beginning and found I literally couldn’t put it down. Was so creepy got spooked myself even. Would highly recommend to anyone loving suspense mystery and a good scare.

I was bored but also tell me how and why I’m supposed to believe this woman likes kids at all.

Ruth....be so for real. The silliest, most unbelievable twists. The reveal was so anticlimactic, and then it just ended. No one would write a letter that detailed. She was obviously a terrible nanny. There are just so many holes and scenes of her freaking out for no reason. This was just silly.
