i love this fucking weird ass book, easily my favorite installment of the dune series. leto getting like, mario power up sand fish armor is the coolest thing to ever happen in the series. breaks my heart that the cowards in hollywood will never adapt this one to film.

i certainly get why this book would not appeal to others, but to me the grotesque relationships, behaviors, and developments of the characters is very compelling.

A terrible and beautiful tapestry continues to unfold in ever-increasing philosophical, sociopolitical, and religious depth.

I have so many thoughts. I’m both disgusted and intrigued. Parts of this were fascinating, especially dissecting what happens when a religion evolves, spoils, and becomes a degenerative force.

Leto a creep.
Justice for Ghanima.
Jessica wins worst mother of the year.
Duncan is a himbo.
Alia said f*** around and find out.
Irulan is here.
