I didn't enjoy it as much as tGS because of Gawyn ( seriously, who cares about Gawyn??? ), Elayne ( I used to like her but the
succession
storyline dragged on way too long for my taste ) and ofcourse not enough Rand but still, it was great. It had several poignant moments that left me pondering about what's to come. Ituralde, my new favorite supporting character that showed up too late in the series continues to remain a badass, Nynaeve and Aviendha with their short but impactful chapters, Perrin and Mat doing what needs to be done and embracing their destiny, everyone coming together for the last battle, it was sooo action packed with fast pacing and I don't know if I can start the final book soon as this one left me emotionally drained.. One complaint I had is that it felt like Perrin regressed back to his former self at the very beginning, throwing all the character development he had in the bin, albeit only temporarily. Apparently Sanderson didn't have enough material to work on Perrin so that makes sense, but atleast he's phenomenal by the end. Anyway I'm feeling rather hollow now, so gonna wait a while before starting 'A Memory of Light', where this long journey will regrettably come to an end..
