Cute, quick read

I really enjoyed this different Hades%Persephone tale. It was a good short story that was quick to read and left me with a smile.

I think I saw someone talking about this book on tik tok. Usually I don’t take tik tok recommendations too seriously because me and book tok usually don’t jive. This little page turner took me by surprise. I finished it in one sitting and immediately wished I had more.

The relationship between Hades and Seph is sweet and earnest. While this story has all the cliche’s a retelling of this sort can’t have, I wasn’t put off by them. The author does a great job of incorporating the cliche’s but also making them feel fresh.

I just really loved this story, it made me feel warm.
