This was an amazing conclusion to a series that brought joy to Past Me, the Me who had no rep for her middle grade self at all and tried to make do with just Jasmine from Disney's Aladdin. My love for these characters knows no bounds. I'm going to miss them all and hope so hard that Chokshi will eventually bring us back to these characters, maybe tell us how they're doing later on in their life.

I love this series and I can’t believe it’s over but I also can’t believe that it took FOUR BOOKS for Aru and Aiden to get together (though it had me kicking my feet and giggling when they started being couple-y so I think it was worth it)
This series was so fun and I just love how it has a writing style similar to Percy Jackson while also being unique
Aru and the Potatoes are amazing and wonderful and their relationship is so fun
I do wish that Aru getting back Vajra was more like the way Mini and Brynne got their weapons back (I know Aru’s test was like “hey you need to believe in yourself and realize you’re great and you can do anything” but after Brynne fighting an immortal bear and Mini taming a nightmare horse and fighting off a sleep giant, Aru’s test just felt a bit anticlimactic in terms of what she had to do yaknow?)
Also the way Kara was kind of just brushed away and made to forget the entire events of the last two books felt a tiny bit like a rushed decision in my opinion, I’m glad she’s able to be happy and not be roped into any more destiny stuff but it was kind of sad how she didn’t want to go and the gods were like “sorry 🤷♀️ “
Anyway I’m sad this series is over but it was so fun to read and I’m really happy I decided to read it :)
Last note: this is my favorite cover of all the books, and the covers just got prettier every time a new book was released
