Really should have just been about Eve tbh. Charlie was not to my liking and her story was just mundane and not actually necessary imo.

Had to force myself to not skip her parts of the book.

Totally my kind of book. It didn’t wow me, but I enjoyed my time with it and was always glad to pick it up. Loved that it was focused on WWI and post WWII. Liked both of the FMCs

Simplemente no puedo explicar como mi género favorito es ficción historica (especialmente de las guerras mundiales) y no tenia ni siquiera idea de la existencia de este libro. Narrada en 2 tiempos y dos épocas distintas - pero al mismo tiempo iguales -. conecta las historias de varias mujeres INCREÍBLES que superaron los estigmas de la primera mitad del siglo XX y tuvieron un papel importantisimo a la hora de salvar vidas. Plagada de acontecimientos y personajes reales, que además la autora se toma el tiempo de mencionar y explicar en su nota y anexos, me parece una manera buenísima de aprender sobre la Francia ocupada y el papel de las mujeres en ella. 5 estrellas es poquito!
