Started out strong but after 125 pages it starts to get really repetitive and loses steam and focus. A shame I feel like this could have been a really great and important book, but it lost its way. Could be a poor translation.

A really good book if you'd like to try to understand the origins of the current digital world. It's a good book to start a reflection, not an technical encyclopedia about the digital world. It's for everyone, you don't need to be a programmer to understand it.

Gran bel testo, senza dubbio. Un paio di capitoli centrali scalano violentemente in complessità, ma poi tutto si riattesta in godibilità. Interessanti i commenti sul “processo” a Zuckerberg, sulle notizie “veloci” modello civetta in edicola e sugli oltremondi passati che trovano posto accanto a quelli moderni (l’aneddoto sul vinile). Molto interessante l’aneddoto del libraio francese e del cartello. Lo consiglio, ma preparatevi ad una lettura che è tanto impegnativa quanto mind-opening.

Iniziato con entusiasmo: l'epoca del Game, che idea! Peccato che si riduca a una favoletta per bambini, raccontata a dei bambini (che hanno più di 50).

Ho colto alcune suggestioni importanti.
1. L’idea della post esperienza. Chi è capace di dominare questa dinamica è di fatto la nuova élite.
2. Il desiderio del tutto che definisce molte nostre esperienze (utile l’esempio di Spotify e Netflix).
3. Il bisogno di un nuovo umanesimo.
Per resto mi pare un po’ lungo e a tratti scontato.
In ogni caso a tratti stimolante.
