I love the premise for this story of Leila and Jake’s love; so original it’s the stuff of fairytale. Right from the start this is a story packed full of emotion as you are thrown into their lives just as they become teenagers - and neither has it easy. My heart really feels for Jake living in that house, and for Leila’s mum walking out on them. And as their story progresses, you hear the importance of this charm bracelet and all the charms it holds. Blimey what a story. And I just love Jake - he always knew from the start that Leila was the one, she took a little while longer (or a lot longer) to get there. But boy what they had was amazing. The ending really pulls your heart through the wringer. You’ll need tissues (well I certainly did!). I loved this book so much.

‘Every charm has a story. This is their love story...’

I have never felt so crushed when reading a story.... until I read Jake and Leila’s.

The Charm Bracelet is described as being perfect for fans of Me Before You and One Day In December. Now I’ve only read Me Before You and LOVED that, so I was sold and knew I wanted to read The Charm Bracelet.

I became VERY dramatic when reading this!

I literally gasped out a few time’s and was grabbing onto my husband for dear life.... much to his delight! Haha.

This was such a moving story. Completely devoured me and crushed my heart into pieces!

‘The only constant in life is change. You can’t control it. Nothing is ever certain. Nothing. And it’s only what we do when we’re faced with that fact, that makes us who we are.’

PERFECT for romance/general fiction fans.

If you loved All The Bright Places, The Fault In Our Stars, Me Before You, In Five Years then PICK THIS ONE UP NEXT!!!!

‘Always look for the rainbow. You have to treasure life - no one is going to do it for you.’

I feel a book hangover coming on!!!!! ;(

This book is special.
The story is told chapter by chapter, each an experience leading to a charm on the bracelet.
A split narrative is used which I love - switching between the two main characters.
I loved so many parts of this book (although I wished for a different ending).
Read it, you won't regret it!

Thanks to netgalley for the chance to read this book.

What a heartbreaking but beautiful book.

When Leila loses her charm bracelet she puts out an advert to find it again. Someone answers the advert to say they have found it but need proof that it is Leila’s. The book tells the story of what each of the charms mean to Leila and the reason behind each one. The book had me in tears at the end as Leila tells the story of how the bracelet was lost.

Wow, where do I begin. Jake and Leila's love story - I laughed, I cried, I got angry and I smiled.

I loved this story and just didn't want it to end. 2 people broken in different ways who are linked by a charm bracelet. The story just sucked me in from the beginning and I kept picking it back up to find out more of what happened and if Leila ever got the bracelet back.
