Maybe 3.5? That being said, I am ALL HERE for Diana and Clark being bros.

Wonder Woman is my favourite female superhero and the first volume of Sensation Comics was interesting so I picked this up at the library.

I did not like Besties. Diana felt very stuck up and unlike her humble self. I did like that the characters talk about shaming women for how they dress and unfair competition.

I noticed that alot of the issues tackled Wonder Woman being the mediator between warring countries. Like in Vendetta, Nine Days and A Day in Our Lives (best art!).

Cheetah featured two times in this volume under different circumstances. Our Little Dance combined mental health and Cheetah but not the classes Barbara Minerva. I liked the message of the story especially when the district attorney mentions how superheroes cause alot of collateral damage. Barbara does feature as Cheetah in The Island of Lost Souls. Again, she needs Diana's help. This felt like an ode to The Island of Dr. Moreau. At times, I wondered if Diana is too compassionate. She helps those who I as the reader would think should not be helped.

Overall, still a satisfying collection for a Wonder Woman fan.

Not as good as Vol 1. I'm giving it three stories for the Cheetah story because that focus on the damage done to non-superheros and highlights the difference between Wonder Woman and Batman. I also enjoyed the stories with Poison Ivy and Superman. First story gets bonus points for the woman in charge.

The stories in this volume were hit or miss for me. Some of the issues had fantastic artwork but mediocre writing, some had decent stories but terrible artwork. Unfortunately I don't feel like those two components ever matched up. I did enjoy seeing Diana interact with various other DC heroes and villains, but some of the stories just seemed too gimicky.

I really enjoyed the first two volumes in this series, so I hope it gets back on track in the next volume.
