Though the pace of the plot is slow, I find reading Mrs. Calloway to be an almost frenetic experience at times the way Woolf bounces from thought to thought and between perspectives so frequently. It is slow but never plodding or boring, even if you find yourself bored quickly while reading if nothing seems to be happening.
