The only reason I didn’t rate it higher was bc I guessed the plot at the end of the book halfway through. But still, honestly, Rick Riordan is such an amazing writer and all his books just grab me and don’t let go until I’ve finished reading it. It was amazing and I can’t wait to start Son Of Neptune.

I think I am growing to love the hero’s of Olympus just as much as I love the Percy Jackson series I know it’s just the first book but I have high hopes and love the three new demigods at camp

I think I'm really just getting burnt out on middle grade/younger YA writing cuz this book took me a lot longer to read than it would normally. I still enjoyed revisiting the characters, and I'm honestly surprised by how much stuff I'd forgotten from it. Really excited to finally get back to Percy in the next book, but I'll have to spend some time reading some other things before I can really be ready for that.
