I don't know how I'm supposed to wait for the next book with an ending like that.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. The pace was great, the writing was terrific. It'll be such an excruciating wait for the next book in the series but Jussi Adler-Olsen and his characters are worth the wait.

As always an excellent mystery for the Department Q team. I find the stories from other countries around Covid fascinating. I find it quite interesting the viewpoints, processes and procedures on how other countries handled Covid. It is important to note this story has nothing to do with Covid directly. It just takes place during the global shut-downs. I can't wait to read #10. Hopefully it is not long in arriving! The previous books have lead up to the events that will occur in 10 and it should be a fascinating mystery for the group to solve and save one of their own.

3.5 ster.

When I started this book, I didn't know that I would be gripped so much by the story because I didn't want to miss some detail. I tried even taking notes and staying late at night to see what would happen next with our unit Department Q. I can't wait to read the next installment of this series, because I was left with a cliffhanger. I highly recommend the book to all readers that love Department Q cases and all who like to read a good crime story.
