A childhood re-read - Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass, annotated by Carroll scholar Martin Gardner. And when I say it's a childhood re-read I do mean it, I've only ever read the version of Alice with academic annotations, because I was that kind of child.
All I can say is: hoo boy Lewis Carroll was a fucking pedophile and these stories were used by him to groom young girls. Sorry to burst the bubble for those of you unwilling to face that fact, but the man proposed marriage to at least three children.
