This was a really nice read!
There were certain novellas within this book that I enjoyed more than others, but they were all unique and fun to read.

They made me understand what type of character Celeana Sardothien is, what she has been through, and what makes her such a strong person now.

Keeping in mind that this is the first book I have read in the Throne Of Glass series, I would’ve probably enjoyed this book more if I read it later. And that’s because I would already be familiar with the characters, understand emotional scenes a bit better and probably cry… (which I did not)

Overall, I enjoyed this but that’s probably it! I think that I will enjoy the rest of the books in the series a lot more!

This may only a be a novella but I love it so much! First book in the Throne of Glass series I've read and I'm already in love and I can't wait to read the rest! Celaena is a bad ass and I love it!

I didn’t love this one as much as everyone else did, which is a total bummer.

This was really good. I was surprised that I liked all of the novellas. I wish there was some more with Ansel but since we see her in EoS I'm ok with it not being longer.

While I like Sam I don't understand why people get so attached to him. Everyone who read ToG knows he is dead before you read the second book. Oh well 🤷🏼‍♀️

My fav was definitely the Assassin and the Desert. Love Ansel. I can't wait to see more of her and Ilias and the silent assasins in Book 7

Reread Review in prep for KOA

I still have pretty much the same feelings on this book. Ansel is the best and I can’t wait to see what role she and the silent Assasin’s will play in the war.

I still don’t understand the love of Sam. He is there for like ten seconds before he is dead. You don’t have time to get attached and there is no reason to when you already know he is going to die! So idk if it’s an unpopular opinion it’s mine.

So ready for Kingdom of Ash!!!
