This book was really heavy, and not at all what I expected. The anxiety that builds is intense and it brought me to tears multiple times, but the ending and overall message was absolutely worth the heartache.

The story takes so many twists and turns and the tension just builds and builds until you don't know what's real and what's not. It perfectly captures the feeling of anxiously spiraling out of control. The structure was disorienting, but that was the point. It felt quite clever and very different from other graphic novels I've read.

The artwork in this graphic novel was really cool! I don't think I've ever read something with a strictly green color palette like this before. It was also cool to see how Crane's experience with screen printing influenced the art style.
