It went where I never expected it to go.

This was a very mild book for the "horror" genre. It's put out by Covenant, which usually just does LDS books (author is LDS but there is nothing Mormon in the book..except maybe a tiny bit of underlying doctrine about life after death). I really enjoyed it. Little creepy, but you'd expect that from this type of book. Overall, I found it an enjoyable story that grabbed me and made me wonder what would happen next.

For being a book from Deseret Book, it was way violent and dark. Like more graphically violent than I would have ever imagined. Demonic possession??? Idk. Los of plot holes as well. Definitely not a favorite. My husband hated it.

not your classic lds mystery. i like to think of it like an episode of scooby doo - sort of.

This book started out very creepy but in the end it just was weird. Not how I thought it would end.
