This book is FUCKING WEIRD but we couldn’t stop reading and I wanted to continue every time I stopped and just not go into work. See you all on the other side for this probably.

what the fuck was this?
things i hated about this book-
•the abusive tendencies of all 3 men
•the borderline incest
•the multiple RAPES that happened that the author tried to make sexy
•Kaleb (abusive, rude, a literal rapist…. and why did he live in the woods for 90% of the book? that’s weird)
•Jake (don’t forget about he age gap people, it’s creepy)
•Tiernan ‘falling in love’ with Kaleb despite him never saying a word to her and their only interactions involve him raping her or them having sex
•the MISOGYNY!!! they literally treated her like property, and passed her around like she was an object
•the insane double standards. Tiernan wasn’t allowed to get near another man without the 3 men acting as though she was their 2 year old daughter that needed constant protecting
•Tiernan. she had zero fucking character development and was just all-around irritating to read. granted she has serious mental health issues but she never fucking picks up how abusive and toxic the men around her are.
•the lack of personality each of the characters had. Jake’s only personality trait was thinking he’s a bad dad and finding Tiernan hot. Noah’s only personality trait was being ‘nice’ and finding Tiernan hot. and finally Kalebs only personality trait was being weird as fuck and finding Tiernan hot
•the writing was mediocre at best
•the multiple time jumps with no explanation as to what happened in between each one. since when had kaleb left for like 3 months??
•i could not explain the plot if there was a gun to my head. what happened in this book???
this book is just excessive smut with the main storyline basically being stockholm syndrome
i give 99% of books i read 4/5 stars, so 2 stars is really saying something.
things i hated about this book-
