Oh, my word! Firstly huge thanks to the publisher for my ARC. I thought I knew what self-love but I was wrong. This book was an eye-opener on what self-love is and practises of self-love one can do. I totally recommend this book although it seems to start a tad bit slow and could demotivate you because it reads like a scientific book it gets better and the colors on the pages are everything. I absolutely recommend this book to anyone in need of self-love and don't know where to start

It's really good and helpful but for some things it was hard for me to keep track as I listened to the book. I would definitely buy the physical copy soon.I think it would definitely help with how to start your journey to self love and practice it with the activities.

This book covers a variety of topics related to building self-love. I appreciated the structure of this book and thought the action steps were especially helpful as they provided opportunities for reflection and ways to address the topics. I liked how the author used metaphors throughout the book to describe the topics. I also like the formatting and thought visually appealing.

I was hoping for more depth from this book. It has helpful topics for someone wanting to improve their quality of self-love, but it was very basic. I also really had issue with some of the language this book uses and the simplification of problems faced by populations, It often sent the message of encouraging the reader to turn challenges into strengths, without acknowledging the impact of society and biases from others. I don't think every challenge needs to be reframed into a strength. I don't think for my own self-love development I should need to reframe my chronic health issue as a power; that doesn't work for me and ignores my experience. I think the author should have taken time in the book to delve into the complexities if they were going to reference complex topics.

I was given a digital ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
