Don't get me wrong, I loved the concept, but this book turned me off in several ways. Take a look at this YouTube video (I review a bunch of books) to find out what I mean: https://youtu.be/-Xs3H07PSWQ

This story talks about grief, moving forward and about being able to see the future even where it doesn’t seem to be wonderful in every sense

Make sure to look up tw before reading this just to make sure it'll be okay while reading this. I cried a heck ton reading this! I would have been 5 stars if it would kept my attention more throughout the beginning of the book.

I went into this book expecting a story about a girl discovering paranormal secrets in New Orleans. I found that this book is more about mortality vs immortality and what it means to live. Even though this book wasn't what I was expecting I enjoyed it! All the New Orleans activities described were fun to read about and the romance was cute.
