This book completely transformed my approach to tarot.
Genetti veers far from the mainstream standards of tarot in ways such as removing the numbers system from the Major Arcana and creating pip illustrations that have animals, landscapes and man-made objects but not a single human. These choices stem from a deep understanding of tarot and symbolism that is explained clearly and compellingly in the book.
The deck's imagery is a rich blend of history, mythology, sacred geometry, astrology AND astronomy. A lush spectrum of practices from many world cultures are portrayed, along with heavily-researched information provided in the descriptions. The attention to detail is extraordinary. There is not an arbitrary element in this entire production.
By the way, I've used this deck regularly for at least a decade and the cards are in great shape.
