I’m actually loving this series way more than I expected too. All the characters are super likeable and the setting is just prefect. I love the combination of New York and Europe at Christmas.

I will say that this was slightly less christmassy than the first book since like maybe 30% takes place during the rest of the year but there’s still plenty of Christmas vibes (and Love Actually references!!)

DNF. To be more fair I’m giving it two stars, because I stopped at 20%, but this book was written in third person and I just couldn’t deal.

There was absolutely NOTHING about this book that I didn't like. I loved everything about it. The slow burn, the trust the to MCs built between each other, the conflicts that were realistic and well managed. Literally everything about this book was perfect for me.

Duke, Actually is an heartwarming holiday read.
I liked Max and Dani , they were both such wonderful characters. They amused me and entertained me with their antics and watching them fall in love brought out all the feels.

Overall, Duke, Actually was a well written and heartfelt love story with endearing characters that will leave you full of happy feels.

Special thanks to Avon and Harper Voyager and NetGalley for sharing this ARC with me in exchange for an honest review.

Knocked off a star for the relentless mentions of
Meghan Markle, who I can’t stand.

I feel like I need to go watch Love, Actually and Dirty Dancing now. All the little hints of it in this book give me a craving.

the whole story dragged on and there were details that didn’t need to be included. couldn’t fully get into it and felt like a chore to read rather than me being excited to finish it
