This was an entertaining book. The characters weren't anything memorable, but likeable. The storyline has been done before but who cares. I love reading books like this every once in a while; this is a good in between books read. The banter was funny and the epilogue was cute.

Tackled doesn't take itself too seriously, and that is exactly why I enjoyed it. The story is one that's been told a million times, but it's a formula I like. I particularly liked Cassie, and felt like Colt was good match for her.

There is plenty of sexual tension, and well written sex scenes. On the whole I felt like this was better written than I expected and flew through it easily. If you like the nerdy girl/jock boy trope, this is definitely one to check out for a quick read.

I will say - while it was largely angst-free, there was quite a bit of angst and miscommunication towards the last 15% of the book, a lot of which I could have done without. The epilogue was a fun addition though!

This was a fun book to read. I enjoyed seeing the evolution into a couple. My only real issue was that the inevitable fight seemed like a rather dumb one. You could see it coming a mile away and it still seemed very manufactured and trite when it happened.

I got this book on a night I couldn't sleep. It was a quick fun read and I really enjoyed it. It was cute, funny, and had little drama. It was a good book to get into for a few hours.

Gods it was really really crappy. A sports romance? Where do I find anything about sport stays a mystery. How many years have it been since I started reading and enjoying romance genre? 3 maybe 4. I've read a good few books/stories/novels so far. But this one managed to amaze me with it's shallowness. I actually lost count of the word 'cock'. Nothing compensates the main character being a sleazeball, neither his good looks nor his 'giant cock'. It wasn't funny or charming, I didn't feel entertained or amused. What's left in my head after finishing this amazing college/sports 'romance'? Fat honking NOTHING.

I ended up DNF this book because it was full of cap and it was a shit show. The first time the characters meet it's at a pool party and the guy is naked I'm talking full birthday suit and he was actually happy at the fact that he was showing her his package mind you it's like a huge college pool party so of course its packed with people who think its okay to walk naked and jump from the tip roof into the pool and before I forget show your packages.....that was a huge no for me
From what I recall this book tried to use the tutor-jock story line but put a twist on it cause she's older than him but it was childish. Let me not even talk about how she kept dreaming about his package totally embrassing. I will end here for now.

Did they have sex? I don't know I never got that far
How far did I go in reading it ? I don't know I can't remember
Do I recommend? Read at the risk of your own sanity.

Dirty, sexy, and such a good time

I love a dirty mouthed hero, if he’s written well. And oh boy, Colton King written so very well!

Now, don’t get me wrong, there are parts of this book that drive me a little crazy -> the party scene, the effusive references to Colton’s appendage, and of course, the obligatory blonde bimbo mentioned in every college romance. So skeezy. But, I love the banter between Cassie and Colton, and their chemistry is out of this world. I even love the banter between the MCs and the secondary characters.

That’s what Sabrina Paige does so well. She writes fun dialogue, and believable characters who exhibit both wit and passion. They aren’t deep, but they’re real. And sexy. And everything you want in a college-age romantic comedy.

This book was ok and I wouldn’t mind read it again but the characters didn’t really do anything.

This book didn’t really have much happen in it as the main characters didn’t really do anything and they didn’t really talk to the side characters. I liked Sable and Tank but I thought that when they fulfilled their purpose in the book, they sort of faded in the background and you don’t really see too much of them anymore. I liked seeing Colton’s mother as she was a fun character but her character would appear out of nowhere and be gone by the next chapter. I thought that there should have been some chapters with Cassie’s family because Colton’s family is shown a bit (even if some of their scenes don’t really show much of their characters) and Cassie has five brothers so I wanted to see them interacting with Cassie and seeing them meet Colton.

There wasn’t really much of a plot. Cassie was supposed to be tutoring Colton but none of that’s shown and apart from the occasional conversation where Colton says he got a good grade on a paper, it’s as if the tutoring is forgotten. There are two conflicts at the end but they weren’t written dramatically and while during one of them there was a time jump, it didn’t feel like it.

I liked the two-chapter epilogue as it showed what Cassie and Colton’s lives are like in the future but I thought that they weren’t very detailed as not much happened in the first chapter and in the second one when things did start to happen, most of the scene was cut out until it’s just Cassie and Colton interacting with each other.

I want to read another book by this author as I liked this story but I hope that there will be more than just the main characters interacting with each other and everything else staying in the background.
