This book spoke directly to the heart of what the Lord is teaching me in this season of life. I am realizing more and more how the sin of ingratitude breeds so many other sins like negativity, self-absorption, and despair in my heart.

Since I’ve begun a journey of intentional thankfulness a couple months ago, I am seeing the Lord work in my heart in how I respond to people, trials, and everyday circumstances of life. How I pray that He continues shaping my heart until my default attitude is always thankfulness.

I’m grateful to writers like Nancy who clearly present the truth of what Scripture says and what it looks like to live a life of gratefulness.

Encourages thanksgiving to be a natural reflex in all circumstances, making gratitude a lifestyle, giving thanks before something happens. “Trust God even though with experience you don’t understand why” I liked the point made about gratitude is preparing us for Heaven because we will be thanking God constantly while we are there-this is a dress rehearsal to prepare for actual performance

I won't say that this book changed my life, but it certainly changed my attitude in the midst of a tough situation at work.

Personally I think the whole book could have been summed up in a long blog post - good info but it didnt need to be stretched out into an entire book format.

This was good and I got some great points from it. But I just wanted more.
