Good to finish this series however, it read like a man wrote it. Which he did. A shame. The plots had holes in them unfortunately. The pacing was good, the story progressed nicely, however you could never see people actually behaving as they did. Would someone actually believe that? Would someone actually respond like that? Probably not. It was so very unbelievable and had been becoming so since the start of the second book. The third was wholly unbelievable. However, it was a good short read with good pacing.

The first installment of this trilogy, Codename Villanelle, was rather disappointing. I was shocked that it had became the masterpiece that was Killing Eve, being spotty, gross, and incohesive. However, Die for Me turned around my perspective on Luke Jennings's take on Killing Eve. They are his characters, of course. I never actually read the second installment, but I would guess that they improve as they go on. If you are a Killing Eve fan, you should certainly stick to watching the show first, BUT I think this book best reflects what makes Killing Eve so charming. It was humorous, as I felt Luke Jennings had began to take it less seriously, in a good way. The characters had more depth, and while I was jarred by Eve's first person perspective, I appreciated this dive into her character that we didn't quite get from the show.
I most certainly prefer the ending of this book over the ending of the show, so to the fans, this one is your fix-it, happy ending.
