i'll give this 3.5 stars. the first half was a solid 4, and the second half barely a 3. the story line was good and this book started off so promising, but the author kinda fumbled it towards the end. which is kind of a shame. it wasn't bad tho! i'm just a little disappointed, and if this had been fleshed out more (perhaps into a duology/trilogy?) i probably would've liked it better. i feel like everything just happened too quickly. (maybe that's just me.)

This was such a fun fantasy book. About this girl who is a gardener and has secret powers and then theirs a fox and then they have to save the day and it’s dramatic and adventurous but also relaxing?? It was a perfect little read for me this autumn.

Not a full 5 stars even though I wanted to so bad. The dialogue of the fox at times was just so cringy at times it was hard to look past it, but still a good character.

This was a fun, sweet adventure novel. A tiny bit of romance which made the story feel even more magical. I enjoyed the journey and look forward to reading more by this author.
