A wonderful, heartwarming holiday romance. I loved that Trigg's story was so sweet and not too angsty. Trigg has such a big, loving heart. In this universe, he's not a stereotypical "alpha" at all and it was great to see him find love where he didn't expect it, or dared hope for it. Kyler is such an endearing character and I felt so bad for what he'd been through. He and Trigg are so well suited. Apart from Kyler and Trigg, Math is definitely also an important part of what makes this book amazing. An unlikely matchmaker, he does his best to be there for his brother and the way he has changed is incredible.

This is a slow burn and I love a good slow burn. Omegaverse is one of my favorite types of books. The ones I have read previously are fluffy or only touch on dark parts; however, this book is a dark world. It is a little much for my personal taste but the authors writing style kept me engaged.
I read this book as a stand-alone, as advertised, without having read any others in the series. I did not feel that I was missing or lost with the characters, but there was a hint of knowing these characters were introduced before. I believe that the Christmas aspect also added a little bit of lightness that the book needed. Overall I am very pleased I read the book.

In Kyler’s world omegas have no rights. They are given away and only live to please the alpha’s during their heats. All Kyler knows is the farm that he lives on. He is nothing more than something to be owned. Trigg is one of the alphas that goes against the grain. Their worlds will come together around the Christmas holiday and be forever changed.
I enjoyed Trigg and Kyler’s story. It is a sweet and sexy read. Both Kyler and Trigg endeared themselves to this reader. Trigg has such a big heart and seeing the way he treats Kyler made for a nice read. The way their relationship takes shape is sweet. The sparks between the two are off the charts and when they come together, they combust. Not only do we get to see Kyler and Trigg find their way, but we also get to see visit with Trigg’s brothers. This is a beautiful story full of emotions that will pull on your heart and will have you believing in the magic of Christmas.
