Not as good as the first, but still a page turner... a must read if you started the series.

Now that the Capitol is falling apart (big surprise!)....time for Katniss to help lead the fight....
Districts quickly change hands...and really there is not suspense about what will happen, just how it will happen.

I don't like how in the end certain characters just disappear to make the story easier to end.

This book kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time. I never felt stable in where the story was going, but I loved the ending and how much it focused on mental health. I can see why this stood rhe test of time, and I am more than happy that I finally read the series. Perfect to read now since it puts everything in the current world into perspective.

So, I don't understand why everyone has some snide comment about the ending and how frustrating it was. I thought it was fitting and proper that she ended up with who she ended up with. That being said, I didn't enjoy this novel nearly as much as the first two. It seemed to wander and was a bit wordy. Overall, it is a good book and a worthy ending to the trilogy.
