Michaela and Mo!

I feel like all Julia Wolf characters are going to be explosive when they come together. This is my second book I've read by her and her characters chemistry is off the charts, whether they are fighting or loving their emotions are always big. Mic and Mo had so many huge feelings but with their miscommunication and missteps throughout their story, it took a while to get to their happily ever after.

This wasn’t a favorite story of mine. I’ve been on a 1-1.5 book a day streak until this book. 3 days. I cannot even remember the last time it took me 3 days to read a book.
Did not too much like how the FMC was written. She was very cold. I wasn’t a fan of how she treated the MMC.

One thing I did like was the light shined on men being sexually assaulted. And the double standard there. Men can feel violated as well, it should not be brushed off.

Another great book in the series

I wondered where Mo's story would go and it was a great entry in the series. Can't wait for the third book

Mo and Michaela's story is fantastic from the way they met to the struggles with their childhood and how it has influenced them, the attraction still burning between them and how they deal with things going on after their hook up. I loved how Mo changed from the good times laid back young guy when we first met him to the stand up guy we see him turn into. And while Michaela is new to us you soon feel like she is family and just want things to work out for her and Mo. This is another great read in the spin off to Blue is the Color books.

I loved Mo and Michaela’s story together! Mo plays in a band and Michaela is a band manager. They knew each other from the past and reconnected shortly after one of Mo’s shows. Now they were bound to be together. Of course there are some misunderstandings that almost destroys them as a couple. There was a medical scare that I related to from experience. That part was hard for me to read. I recommend this book for anyone looking for a happy love story!

LOVED Moses and Mic's story! I've been waiting for this one and this author does not disappoint. SO MUCH ANGST! Like angst on steroids. For once I was yelling at the heroine to get her head out of her a$%! Moses is such a sweetheart. Mic is as stubborn as they come. I get where they are coming from, when you have an 'unconventional' upbringing, what seems normal to most people feels like a challenge. Throw a baby into the mix and it can all get crazy, but these two just need to get on the same page. Its like maybe they are on the same page but they are not speaking the same language? Without proper communication I couldn't see a happy ending for these two. I felt like it was Mic dropping the ball for the most part though. They sizzled right off the page though and still I felt there was still a good amount of cuteness and charm mixed in. I can't wait for more from this author!

Oh, Mo, how you have grown. When we first met you in Times Like These, you were just the flirty frontman for Unrequited on that summer tour. We saw you flirt with Dalia and annoy Nick. But then again, Nick is easily annoyed, but I digress. You have continued to pop-up in the Blue is the Color series, then in the Neverlasting Duet, and now in your series. It has been amazing to see the man you have become.

Mo, you are one tender-hearted, sensitive guy. You meet up with Michela in Vegas, and it's the right time and the right person. Unfortunately, what ensues is crossed communication and a bit of bad timing. But you persevere in the face of some obstacles to get to your girl only to get a super surprise.

What left us all slightly wobbly with the feels was how you worked so hard to do the right thing by Michaela, again with the misunderstandings. But you admitted when you were wrong and stuck in there when Michaela wanted nothing more than to run the other way. And she could be prickly. Plus, you were feeling the effects of stardom, and it's not-so-shiny bits. It can be shallow, and what we have discovered, Mo is there's a lot more to you than we ever knew before.

It's been fun watching you grow from the semi-stoned young lead singer to a man who loves his girl and wants to do right by her in all ways, even if it took an off-the-hook night in Vegas to get there. By the way, you both have great taste in music.
