Though it draws on the authors specific tradition, it is still a valuable guide for any witch. The exercises are very do-able, even if this is the first book by the author that you’ve picked up. I loved how accessible and easy to understand this book was, and it was very well researched. Any witch could do any of the exercises listed and learn a lot from doing so. I especially enjoyed how the author gave thought to disabled witches, even in topics like practicing ecstatic ritual. 5/5 for me

A very interesting book that answered some questions I had been having lately and gave me a good jumping off point to investigate more. I am happy to see a new book out that is for witches that have been practicing a long time and are looking to deepen their Craft. This book is well researched and written, the author knows his stuff. Looking forward to his next book.

This book was for the most part pretty good. A lot of stuff I found useful. What I didn't find useful on a purely personal level was the encouragement to work with Diana or Aradia (I'm Jewish and pretty dedicated to working without other deities.) I really did not like that it reproduced an antisemitic and antiromany piece of a (granted, very old) poem without any comment. I also didn't like the sort of "chosenness" piece of this author's views towards who is a witch. Other than these things, I thought the writing style was excellent and it was full of information I can't wait to look into again.
