This one was so much fun with Easton setting up elite membership for dating events and Bellamy having a podcast with true love. Both believing their view on love was the better way and trying to convince each other.

The banter and the steam was just perfection. Sebastian York and Vanessa Edwin did such a great job with bringing these characters to life.

I love Coco as a grandma and how much she added to the story.

Ah, to be back in Lauren Blakely's Big Rock book universe is a joy that I am so not taking for granted. It's been over four years since readers were last here, so when Blakely announced that she had a new book in the series coming, the anticipation was boundless. This series is a personal favorite as well, given that Big Rock was my very first read from this author back in 2016, and I've been hooked on her writing ever since. All this being said, Come Again can very much be read independently of the first six Big Rock novels, but certainly wouldn't stop you if you decide to peruse those titles. Consider this my not-so-subtle prod for you to do exactly that!

Come Again is a romantic comedy featuring rivals intent on proving to the public that their way trumps the other's when it comes to romance. There is a free prequel novella, Come and Get It, that focuses on the first meeting between the main characters, Easton Ford and Bellamy Hart, but it also happens to be available as part of this novel. So, if you've read said novella, feel free to skip ahead; if not, you don't need to go searching for the freebie, which was really intended to be available for only a limited time. They were dressed as Jay Gatsby and (not) Daisy Buchanan and there may have been a bet and a kiss involved. That's all you're getting.

One of my favorite things about this series has always been it being told from the male main character's perspective. Yes, this is something that Lauren Blakely still does with her books outside of the series, but those are dual points-of-view. Other than the epistolary portions, readers see all the ups and downs on the way to happily-ever-after from Easton's viewpoint. I love the humor and the heat, but seeing Easton's heart and the vulnerability within it is part and parcel of what makes this book--and this series in general since it's something all the heroes throughout have shown--as fantastic as it is. Of course, I tip my hat to Bellamy, who is, hands-down, one of the most kickass heroines EVER from Blakely. From the chemistry between Easton and Bellamy to their hilariously heartwarming story, Come Again was a five-plus-starred must-read.

Come Again
By: Lauren Blakely
Narrated by: Sebastian York, Vanessa Edwin - Epilogue
Series: Big Rock, Book 7

Ah, Bellamy and Easton, what a wonderfully romantic story! I think this may be my favorite Lauren Blakely story to date! These two meet and the chemistry is off the charts. Easton runs a dating site and has a specific idea of how to find your soulmate. While he won’t give into affairs of the heart, he loves finding that perfect someone for others. Bellamy has another idea though and with her podcast, the two make a bet to see which way is better. And decide on a friends with benefits situation. But when feelings begin to grow, and guarded hearts get in the way, will the two find a way to decide what is the best way to find your true soulmate> Talk about amazing heroines! Bellamy is feisty and determined. Her drive and heart are huge and I absolutely love her! Easton is swoony and I fell for him and his whole persona. He is romantic and frustrating and wonderful! This series is everything I love and am so glad it’s back! This was amazing!

Sebastian York is the voice of Easton. I think Blakely wrote him with York in mind with his smooth, romantic voice and easy flow. Vanessa Edwin comes through with a humorous take on emails, giving us that real conversational feel. It as always was a fantastic listen!

Oh man, I loved going back to the Big Rock universe with Lauren Blakely’s newest novel, Come Again. Easton Ford is a businessman dealing in helping women find love through face-to-face parties instead of online. Bellamy Hart is a podcaster who does a scathing(not all her fault) editorial about Easton’s company. If I told you more details I would spoil the fun. Easton wants Bellamy with a passion he hasn’t felt in a really long time. Will the sexy, swoon-worthy cupid allow the arrow of love to penetrate his heart? Is Easton the last frog that Bellamy will kiss? These two characters are so well matched for each other in the chemistry and banter ability departments you will need a fan ladies! Sebastian York (squeal here) and his whiskey smooth voice is just amazing as Easton. You say Sebastian York is narrating and I’m reaching for a fan! He’s that hot ladies! Andi Arndt makes a special appearance throughout as Bellamy. She is equally amazing too. These two are awesome narrators for Lauren Blakely in the audio performance of Come Again. I’ve been reading Lauren Blakely books for years now and have not been disappointed in the quality of work she produces. I received an ARC and ALC in exchange for an honest review. *****

5+ stars!
I feel like my review won't do this fun and sexy, enemies to lovers rom-com justice. Come Again deserves all the praise! Lauren Blakely has outdone herself once again! I loved this book so sooo much!! From the addictive banter to the red hot character chemistry and the one-upmanship...gah!... I could have read Easton and Bellamy’s story forever. I’m sure I had stars in my eyes the entire time reading.

There was a ton of chemistry between Easton and Bellamy. I felt it from their very first interaction. I lived for their verbal sparring. It was so entertaining and crazy hot. There was just so much delicious tension and flirting. I couldn't get enough. The emails, especially, were my favorite.

I loved that Bellamy held her own against Easton. Her sass, wit and her bold way of voicing her wants, easily made her one of my favorite heroines of the year. She's incredible and I totally get why Easton was so taken by her.

As for Easton, what's not to love about him? He's charming, handsome, successful and maybe a little cocky. Even when he was acting like a complete jackass, I could help but adore him. I loved his relationship with his grandmother too. It's so freaking cute.

I have to say, while I enjoy all of Lauren Blakely’s worlds and characters, there is just something so special about the Big Rock world. It fills my heart with so much joy. I don't know if it's the mostly male pov with the creative ways Lauren Blakely inserts the heroine's pov, or the group of fabulous side characters, or the super sexy flirting. Either way, I know I will never tire of this series.

Come Again continued my love affair with this series and I highly recommend everyone read it. Hands down one of my favorite reads of the year.

Come Again by Lauren Blakely
Narrated by Sebastian York with a little of Vanessa Edwin

I listened to Come Again by Lauren Blakely when it was first released as part of the Big Rock Series. It was during the holidays and I apparently forgot to review it. Then I saw Come Again as Book 1 in the Happy Endings series. Thinking it was a different book, I grabbed it and started listening. I rarely listen to a book twice, but I have to tell you, I enjoyed Come Again just as much the second time around.

The Big Rock Series is all told from the male POV with creative ways of getting the female perspective. I fell in love with Lauren Blakely and Sebastian York because of the Big Rock Series, so I was so freaking excited for more! Come Again stands perfectly on its own, it just has that amazing Bog Rock style that I fell in love with.
“I’m a purveyor of pleasure - the goddamn mayor of good times, the lord of lust, the emperor of ecstasy.”

Easton is cocky and rich and runs a company that arranges exclusive singles parties. Bellamy runs a romance podcast. They don’t see eye-to-eye on love or dating. Though these two weren’t really enemies, they were rivals in some ways.

My favorite thing in almost any romance is e-mails/texts. There were a bunch of flirty e-mails between the couple (her letters are the only female POV), and I totally loved the online flirting. Once again, I never go wrong with a Lauren Blakely book.

Likes:

  • •Easton’s grandmother stole the show, and I swear I’d read her book in a second.

  • •Great side characters.

  • •The banter! Lauren is the best at sexy, flirty banter.

  • •The letters between the two of them are what made the book for me.

  • •As always, Lauren writes HOT sex!

  • •It was just as good the second time.

  • Dislikes:

  • •I can’t put my finger on it, but something just didn’t stand out as much as Lauren’s books normally do. I think maybe I didn’t love Easton as much as usual? Or maybe Bellamy? I’m not sure, but something is holding me back from screaming about how I was completely in love with this book.

  • The Narration:

Sebastian York is always amazing at the cocky male POV books and I love the way Lauren weaves in the female pop in creative ways with Vanessa Edwin.

    The Down & Dirty:

Whether Come Again by Lauren Blakely is part of the Big Rock Series or the start of the Happy Endings Series, it’s still hot, sexy, smart, emotional Lauren Blakely fun. I love how even her cockiest heroes are knocked down a peg by an equally strong and successful woman. While this may not be up there with my favorite Lauren Blakely books, I still really enjoyed it both times I listened and recommend it wholeheartedly.

    Rating: 4 Stars, 4.25 Heat, 5 Narration

This story had everything that I've come to love from a Lauren Blakely story. Fun, wit, hilarious banter, swoon and sexy perfection. Come Again was a fun, easy read full of humor, witty banter, and a beautiful love story.
