LOVED the illustrations and the stories were so adorable. Is this not a live cartoon because if it isnt, it really should. Id watch it xD Grumpy cat just totally made my day. You can see the cats personalities and you almost forget that they are that.. CATS

I received this book from Netgalley in exchange of an honest review.
I was slightly let down by this. I understand that it was probably aimed at an audience younger than myself, but I just felt all the situations to be too childish and basic. The plot lines weren't interesting and they had been done before, but this just threw in the characters of Grumpy Cat and Pokey. I've personally loved Grumpy Cat as a meme and internet phenomenon, but these stories probably weren't necessary. Don't get me wrong, the art and cats are still cute, but I just wasn't impressed by this. I still gave this three stars though, as my cat lady heart had to.
