3 BookShots contained in this book.
1. Dead Man Running - a psychiatrist witnesses his patient’s murder, uncovering a plot to kill a political candidate
2. 113 Minutes - a mother is determined to seek revenge on the drug lord who she blames for her teenage son’s death
3. The 13-Minute Murder - a paid assassin hunts for the killer of a Mafia boss’s son

These 3 stories are all short, very quick reads. Nothing spectacular in any of them, just a quick escape.

DEAD MAN RUNNING
This should’ve been a full length novel. The lead character psychiatrist Randall Beck was great as was his friend Susan. The story was captivating and it was well written ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Unfortunately the remaining 2 stories weren’t as good.

313 MINUTES
Started off okay with a mother avenging her son’s death. But its when we find out how she manages to get away with it that the story falls apart. ⭐️⭐️

13 MINUTE MURDER
Nope. Did not enjoy this one at all.

actual review : 2.25 stars ⭐

uh where do i start with this book, its relly dragged dragged out.

i DNF this book, i felt so bored reading it. the staritngs of stories were fine, the endings were great. but the middle, oh god, the middle.

i felt lost, i would continue reading to try to uderstand and get a grip of whats happening but just nothing. the author would try to remain what was happening secret for the big reveal at the end but that left for a dry story.

read date : april 27 2020 - ( gave up trying to read on ) september 18 2020

I typically don't like his unless they're Alex Cross, but I quite enjoyed this. It was different, quicker, and I got involved quickly. Good quick read.

Beware this is three bookshots and not a standalone book.
DEAD MAN RUNNING ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️ First story was very good. Could've been a full length book. Main character and suspense were good.

113 MINUTES ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I was going to give the second story 3 stars. The story didn't make sense, but the twist was good and explained it all.

13-MINUTE MURDER ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Didn't like the story as much as the first two, but I liked the character, some humor...and I'm a sucker for dogs. A darker story.
