Unsteady is gorgeous, a book filled with characters with such depth and such heart that I can’t help but feel warm and fuzzy as I read about them. Sadie and Rhys are two broken humans, who come together to find healing and love and trust. Family is a huge part of this tale, and they create it together beautifully.

There are lots of little plot points that I’m hoping will be explored further in later books, as I have a lot of unanswered questions about these characters, particularly Bennett, Coach Kelley, Ro and Toren.  Can’t wait to see how their stories (hopefully) progress in the future. I also would have liked some of Sadie’s storylines to be fleshed out more, particularly around her custody case. We got very little information about how it came about, how it ended, and what happened to her father so I’d be very intrigued to get more information about that.

This was so good. I loved this book. I really liked the character development and the mental health development of the characters. Also the fact that once they got together, their mental health challenges didn’t disappear, showing that love didn’t cure their troubles.

So so good. Maybe I thought it was so good because I relate to it in some ways, but this book breaks your heart and mends it back together again. Readers will fall in love with Rhys

Easily one of the best books I’ve read in awhile. Very accurate portrayal of <PTSD and severe panic attacks> and the process of healing from those. Tons of heart, lovable characters, and realistic struggle and problem solving. HEA. I’ll definitely be waiting for her next book!
