SO SO SO GOOD!!

I loved the story of Easton & Maya! They both had such strong personalities, and all their interactions together had me laughing, swooning, blushing, kicking my legs, etc!

From the second Easton sees Maya, he is completely enamored and can’t seem to get her out of his head (which definitely isn’t normal for this hockey captain). Maya has a past with hockey players and swore them off years ago. For some reason, with Easton she decides to challenge him instead of completely cutting him off!!

Easton was EVERYTHING!! The “he falls first” concept was PERFECT. I loved Easton’s patience and understanding with Maya. His protective instincts for her had me swooning the whole time. Maya was such an amazing and layered character. I loved watching her open up to Easton slowly when she saw how much she could trust him.

Their romance and chemistry were IMMACULATE! You could feel their chemistry off the page. I loved their banter and easy comfort with each other. I always enjoy sports romance because of the team/side character interactions as well, and this book didn't let me down in that department! I loved seeing Easton with the team and Maya with her friends. This book also balanced romance and sports so well! Hockey was definitely prevalent in the book, but I still really enjoyed all the hockey scenes (even though I've never seen a hockey game). The balance was very well done, and I was completely engaged with every page

This book was absolutely phenomenal and an easy 5-star read for me! AND no third-act break up!!! The characters were great at communicating their feelings and being emotionally transparent with each other. Pick it up ASAP if you enjoy sports romance!

Overall, great book. Beautiful characters. Wonderful story. I cannot wait for more in the series and from the author!
