Continuing with the audiobook series, so I'll review when finished.

What happens if what seems like it might be a space ship is crashed underneath the ocean? Is it a coincidence? Is it here to eradicate the entire human race... or something else entirely?

This is the perfect holiday thriller, a great page-turner. Will the characters or the story stay with me? Probably not, but it's the equivalence of binging your way through a Netflix series. Fun, intriguing, well paced. Definitely worth a read.

Too many scientific problems. Continuity issues.

I loved this book, I didn’t want to put it down. Unfortunately I have to work for a living, so I can’t spend every moment of the day reading.😢
Anyway, aside from being well written, the author did his research. I felt somewhat smarter for having read this. It really did make you think, about human beginnings and alien races. To think that all life on the planet is descended from an alien race almost feels like it could be right.
I was explaining that to my husband and he looked at me like I was crazy, he has to read the book to understand.
I won’t go into anymore details, just know that I’ve bought the second book and I’m hoping it’s just as good as the first!

Happy reading!

Great ideas, really interesting concepts.

The writing did not work for me at all. We're told everything -- nothing is shown. The characters are one-dimensional and flat. The villains are all supposed to be pretending to be something else but they're so blatantly villainous that I kept expecting someone to twirl his mustache. Very disappointing.
