 this is the first time my ma's recommended me a book & i've strongly disliked it but thankfully she wasn't that fussed about it either. i kept getting stuck on how unbelievably unrealistic it all is. the final act especially.

A beautiful story of motherly love and how even with the best intentions, doing things out of love can have far reaching and painful consequences. Dawn French’s humour is evident throughout and you love the characters she wants you to or hate them by the subtle bit of behaviour. So good and I cried my eyes out!

This book is absolutely amazing. Dawn French is an artist. 'Beacuse of You' is a book that everyone needs to read. It discusses topics that are raw and emotional. What happens when you loose the one thing you have always wanted? Hope, a name that entices something big. Hope, a woman who risked everything to feel hopeful again. Hope a women, who in the end, gave hope to another. This is what the book is about: HOPE.
