I'll probably read a few more in this series to see if it grows on me, but this wasn't really my type of mystery. The characters were engaging, and I think it was more them than the plot that kept me reading, since I was only mildly curious about the resolution.

Also, if you're at all into fat activism, this is definitely not a pleasant read.
