Engaging despite my personal struggles with the format of comics as a whole. A really cool take on relationships with mentors, rivals, and friends, and the anime adaptation of it was more than enough to draw me in despite being someone who's been intensely meh on that category of cartoons/comics for years now. I'm willing to work with it to see where it goes, and although not every arc has engaged me on the same level, the high points remain entirely worth it to me. That said, the manga adaptation is definitely my preferred version of this story.

Horikoshi has such a wonderful hand when it comes to drawing. Being an individual who watched the anime before reading the manga, I now read each character's lines in their actors' voices and it truly brings the story to life for me in a whole new way.

I love how Horikoshi designed the manga to almost reflect his notes while designing each UA character. I felt like I was inside of this mastermind's head and as a HUGE BNHA fan, I felt almost giddy while reading it through!

Big shoutout to my lovely boyfriend for buying me the first manga chapters for Christmas and then the second because he's too stubborn to hear no <3

I have been waiting forever to read this Manga, ever since the anime came out, I have been on the look out for the first volume to show up in my local bookstore, and I am glad I found it, and even glad that they are adding more graphic novels and manga in the shelves . 2022 is the year for us readers!
