I loved how this book started off, new and carnal. The latter scenes however do not fixate on those lines, they focus on the behaviours of the main characters and centring their relationship,more importantly about the secrets and depth of the male protagonist (Miles). At the end, it's delightful to read how both of them fall in love and we get to understand Miles better. Despite the vulgarity of the first couple scenes, it's a romance.

Is it pure smut or is it a gut wrenching love story? Turns out it’s both! Very spicy from chapter 1, and while I was expecting it to be ‘the spice is the plot’ type of book the darkness of both characters started creeping in and their struggles revealed. I’m still thinking about this book several days after finishing it and don’t think I will ever truly recover
