Overall, not a bad ending to a trilogy. But I definitely enjoyed the second book the best out of the series.

I really liked this book, and the whole series. It is very original, clean, and interesting. It will catch and hold the attention of readers of all ages, from middle grade to adults. I loved the way magic and science are blended together, how the good and the evil are not so completely separate as one might imagine, and the bravery and wisdom the characters must have to overcome their many obstacles. The ending is happy, but not unrealistic. The scars are still there, and this makes them only grow more likable and relatable.

A different kind of adventure series with. steampunk kind of feel. Definitely start at the beginning of the series though.

A wonderful conclusion to the story!
Will edit this later when I have my thoughts better organized.

I tried to savor this one, knowing it was the end of the trilogy. Watching Sofia and Theo grow up has been an amazing adventure. This one was very well paced and fit so many pieces together neatly. Still a little confuse about some of the issues with Graves but will happily reread the series to catch what I missed.

3 1/2 stars. Overall satisfying conclusion to the story, but it suffers a bit from deus ex machina to end it.
