I enjoyed this very much. I am glad they didn't do like the first volume with narration from Tim Treloar and instead went with him doing the Third Doctor from beginning to end.

The Transcendence of Ephros 3 stars

This one is about the burning of a planet seen by two different groups: a religion who wants to emulate their founder and find transcendence through this consuming; a corporation making money out of it. Jo and the Doctor are just passing through or are they? The Doctor is not sure if the Time Lords are involved or not (I'll let you decide), but he sure is going to help.

Good script, I just found it a little predictable... I had a pretty good idea who was the villain early on, but there was a surprise there that I loved. Worth the listening to.

The Hidden Realm 5 stars

Jo's cousin-in-law has disappear and she goes (with the Doctor) to see if she can help her cousin. There is also a couple of detectives investigating the strange disappearance.

Lovely story set in a village where not everything is what it seems (it never is in Doctor Who). Excellent script, I liked the sci-fi bit... don't want to give away too much with this one because even though we know what is going on pretty early on, I think it would spoil it to go into it knowing it.

The behind the scenes were fun and enlightening as per usual. I am hoping this series continues. I was born in the seventies, but Pertwee is my favorite of the old era (if you look at my profile picture, you'll see my arm tattoo and who is there? yep, that's Jon Pertwee and David Tennant)
