Really enjoyed this book, great story. Listened to the audio version and the narration was excellent as well.

This book was so fabulous storyteller. I fell deep into their mystery and line of womanly relatives to keep me skeptical of what's going on with their individuals' secrets. Thumbs up!

Really beautiful prose. The mystery was enough to keep me going through the slow, meandering pace of the novel. This story is like an onion, you peel one delicate layer back piece by piece until you get to the heart and tragedy of this story.

At first I was a bit leary about a 500+ page book. LOL Once I got started, I wanted to keep reading. At first, I found it hard keeping all the characters straight and the various time periods.
I liked how the author wove all 3 characters experiences together. I was trying to piece together how Cassandra, Nell (Ivory) and Eliza all tied in together.
Overall I enjoyed the book and would give it 4.5 stars if goodreads allowed it. :)
