Eldest by Christopher Paolini is book 2 of the Inheritance Cycle. This is a second reading of this book and it was just as good as the second time. My love for fantasy and dragons came from reading this series. I love the world-building and magic system that Paolini created with his series and how in-depth Paolini goes with Eragon's training/ battles. In Eldest Eragon must go to Ellesmera to complete his magic training all while completely unaware of what is going on with his cousin Roran and his hometown and across the continent. This series will always remain a personal favorite of mine.
