This is a really enjoyable Daddy/Boy romance.
Donovan is the perfect balance of dominance and caring whilst Maverick is independent but wants that firm, loving hand. It's lust at first sight for the two men who meet through a hookup app but feelings don't take long to follow as they constantly think about each other and, surprising them both, meet at a mutual friend's BBQ. It turns out you can find what you're looking for in a small town. Donovan now lives on a small farm since retiring from the Navy and I adore how much he loves the furry little animals he's slowly accumulating including rabbits, miniature donkeys and a puppy, just to start with.
The men have a really sweet but hot relationship that's so easy to enjoy. It has a great cast of characters, including established couples from Finding Ripley and Snowflake Kisses. It's not necessary to have read them previous to this but you'll definitely want to go back and find them if you haven't already, especially for Ripley!
Cannot recommend this enough. It's a nice story that has a little of everything with a loving relationship, small town life, good friends and a little family drama.
I received an ARC and am happily giving a review.

I love the guys of River Gorge. Donovan and Maverick meet for a hook-up and never exchange names but meet by chance at a cookout at Ripley and Reed's ranch. I love that they took the time to get to know each other and build a relationship before they jumped back into bed to see how they would last.

Donovan's care for Maverick was just what he needed and his support and help with his siblings was refreshing. I was glad he welcomed them into their lives and home with open arms, it was the best thing for them and Maverick.

I received a copy of this book and am giving an honest review.

Not really into Daddy dynamics.

My favourite from this author. The relationship dynamic was delightful and this one will go on the re-read list. The non-romance sub-plot felt unnecessary (they always do in this series, it's ok to just have the romance stuff!) but was sweet.
