I didn't like this as much as the first book, but I did like it more than the second one. The first 25% was hard for me to get through, but after that I was really enjoying it. I liked the direction it took, it was unique and different. I never really got attached to any of the characters, though. I thought they were just fine. It did lose me at the 70% mark, and I thought the end was anticlimactic.

Nice conclusion to the trilogy, but I enjoy Mr. Mercedes most.

3.5 ⭐ liked the premise of the book but found that it was a bit repetitive in places and made it feel like it dragged a little.
